The NUS Faculty of Law's Centre for Pro Bono and Clinical Legal Education was officially launched on 31 October 2017, bringing together the work of the NUS Pro Bono Office and the faculty's clinical legal education programmes.

Enjoy viewing some snippets from our 5th Annual Pro Bono Awards, and hear from our award and grant winners.   Under strict Safe Management Measurers, the CPBCLE held the 5th Annual Pro Bono Awards on the 24th March 2021. The awards ceremony allowed us to applaud the recipients steadfast work in ensuring that innovative pro bono projects were created and successful executed to meet emerging legal needs, and existing pro bono projects could continue, subject to COVID restrictions.   Creativity, resilience and the use of technology has enabled NUS law students to successful deliver pro bono projects that target needy beneficiaries evolving legal concerns. These projects aim to help needy beneficiaries be more informed of their legal rights, and enhance access to justice.   CPBCLE's latest collaborative publication is The Legal Toolkit for Witnesses (with a focus on vulnerable witnesses)(2020). This publication provides valuable guidance to caregivers and professionals who support vulnerable witnesses who have to testify in criminal trials.   CPBCLE is proud to present COV-AID, a pro bono project which aims to bridge the information gap between government COVID-related policies and beneficiaries, responding with a concise, one-stop solution for potential beneficiaries to navigate the legal landscape   CPBCLE is proud to present the Covid-19 Migrant Workers Booklet and Infographic, which cover issues such as what are migrant worker rights during this period
