Law Student Advisors

One of the greatest strengths of our law faculty is its small, close-knit community. Our Student Advisor Scheme was born from a desire to connect with our law students and support them through law school. The Student Advisors are a team of law professors who take on this role because of their commitment and love of connection with students. They do not have all the answers but they are full of ideas, and being more mature in years, they are able to explore options with students on how to manage various issues.

Student Advisors are Academic Advisors to all undergraduate law students in all four years. Any law student may approach any one of them for consultation on matters ranging from managing law school stress, academic and other personal difficulties. In addition, every first year group is assigned a Student Advisor. The assigned Student Advisor will monitor the students in their first year to ensure that they are coping well with law studies. First year students can consult their assigned Student Advisor but they are also free to approach any other Student Advisor on the panel. The Student Advisors can be reached at their respective email addresses and further personal meetings can be arranged by email or phone.
